BARRINGTON R.I. (WPRI) – The Rhode Island Department of Health ordered on Wednesday that a local X-Ray technicians EMT license will be suspended.
Kristian Laferriere was arraigned on Tuesday for two counts of video voyeurism .
According to the Rhode Island Department of Health, Laferriere allegedly used a smart phone to video tape a 16-year-old girl while she was undressing through a window that separated the exam room and control room. The phone was allegedly covered by a card, but the patient discovered the phone and realized it had recorded 7 minutes of video.
The Director of Health stated that if Laferriere kept his liscence he would be an immediate threat to the health, welfare, and safety of the public.
He is scheduled to return to court in September
