NEWPORT, R.I. (WPRI) – Newport police, along with Rhode Island State Police and the Coast Guard, were back in Newport harbor Sunday searching for a missing teen.
Officials tell Eyewitness News that they were out with search dogs to continue the search for Theodore “Teddy” Oliviera.
The 17-year-old was last seen by friends in a dinghy at about 11 p.m. Monday.
The coast guard suspended its search on Wednesday night after finding no sign of the teen.
