BARRINGTON, R.I. (WPRI) β A plumber is facing accusations he used his trade to steal from a local home.
Police said Robert Giammarco, 25, of Lincoln, came out of the woods, smashed a window on a home on Lantern Lane in Barrington, then entered the house and took what he could. He had done some plumbing work in the home months earlier.
Officials say Giammarco was selling the stolen goods at a pawn shop called Lost Treasure Coin and Jewelry.
The shop's owner claims he had no idea that the items were stolen.
Police say Giammarco also sold some of the items at a cart in the Emerald Square Mall, and that they're concerned there could be more victims.
βIt's very important if someone has had breaks in their house to contact Detective Ben Ferreira,β said Chief LaCross of the Barrington Police Department.
Giammarco was also charged back in October by Johnston Police with breaking and entering at nighttime.
