Miss USA to be in Bristol's July parade

BRISTOL, R.I. (WPRI) - The newest Miss USA, Olivia Culpo, of Cranston, is expected to take part in this year's Fourth of July parade in Bristol.
Parade Chairman Ray Lavey told The Providence Journal he thought it'd be fitting to have her in the parade.
Spectators can see Culpo at the front of the procession riding in a blue Ford Mustang Cobra. Lavey said the Miss Universe Organization requested that Culpo sit in an American-made car.
Culpo, a Boston University sophomore, will take a year off from her studies to tackle her duties as Miss USA and represent the nation in the 61st Miss Universe contest in December.
