Local business expects tournament boost

BARRINGTON, R.I. (WPRI) - Local charities aren't the only ones hoping the CVS Caremark Charity Classic will bring them some much needed funds this week.

The anticipated crowds has local business excited about opportunity.

Barrington area hotels aren't full, but they are are seeing bookings from golfing fans who want to watch their favorite pros play. And restaurants and shops are also expecting higher than normal business.

However, the rainy weather does have some business owners worried. They say they hope the wet weather won't keep people away.
