HOUSTON (WPRI) -- A fugitive from justice arrested in Newport last month is now back in Texas, where he's accused of stealing more than $9 million from his employer.
Anthony Chiofalo was turned over to police in Houston Thursday night.
He had a suitcase filled with more than $100,000 cash when he turned himself into Newport police in December. Prior to that, he had been on the run for six months.
Chiofalo is due in court later this month.
