PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WPRI) -- An alleged father-son team has been arrested for breaking into a home the day after Christmas.
Police say David Welch, and his son Justin Welch -- both of Middletown -- broke into a home in Portsmouth on Mitchell's Lane. Investigators say the pair stole guns, and more than $25,000 in jewelry.
Bristol Police arrested David Welch at his home last week. They reportedly recovered several of the stolen items.
Justin Welch later turned himself in to police. Both men are charged with breaking and entering, and larceny.
