NEWPORT, R.I. (WPRI) - The U.S. government's only active square rigger will be open for public tours in Newport today.

The Coast Guard Cutter EAGLE has arrived in Newport at 10 a.m.

The 295-foot-long ship will be on display at the city's Pier 9 for the next four days.

More than 200 crew members, coast guard cadets and other officers utilize the ship as a tall ship training ship.

The Coast Guard Cutter will depart from Newport Monday morning for her hometown of New London.
