RI Inn named among most romantic hotels
TripAdvisor includes Castle Inn on it's 2012 list

NEWPORT, R.I (WPRI) - A Rhode Island summer hot spot is also a great place to getaway this Valentines Day, according to a national report.
TripAdvisor recently named Castle Hill Inn in Newport as one of the 10 most romantic hotels in the United States.
The website says the winners are based on millions of reviews and opinions from travelers around the world.
“For travelers seeking a romantic getaway with their significant other, whether it be for Valentine’s Day or any other romantic occasion, TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Romance hotels offer inspiration for enchanting escapes across the globe,” said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer for TripAdvisor.
The inn's history dates back to 1740 when the Watch House was built. The Castle Hill House that stands today was built in 1874.
