PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WPRI) - A car crash leaves a local home badly damaged, but it could have been much worse.
According to the Sakonnet Times, a car slammed into the side of a home on East Main Road in Portsmouth Sunday morning and smashed through the wall of a children's bedroom.
The child was not home at the time. No one was injured.
The driver reportedly told police that he missed a turn because of the fog.
