Brothers stabbed in East Providence

Victims Have Serious Injuries

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A pair of brothers was rushed to the hospital following a double stabbing Sunday morning.

East Providence police tell Eyewitness News the two were stabbed on Crescent View Avenue shortly before 1:00 a.m. They were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.

Lieutenant Michael David says the two appear to have been arguing before being stabbed, but would not identify either man.

Lt. David said no arrests have been made, although a third person may have been involved and police are following all leads.
