DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) - Two suspected bank robbers, including a teenaged girl, faced a judge at New Bedford District Court Tuesday afternoon.

Kristopher Santillo and Caitlyn Ingham, 17, were arraigned on unarmed robbery charges.

Police arrested the pair Monday at the Dartmouth Motor Inn on State Road.

Santillo is accused of robbing the Acushnet Federal Credit Union in Acushnet on February 7th.

Ingham is accused in two other robberies . Police said she held up the Bristol County Savings Bank in Dartmouth over the weekend , and a Bank Five in New Bedford last week.

"Once the bank photos were put on TV the viewing public, like they always do, came through. We received a lot of tips," said Lt. Jeffrey P. Silva of the New Bedford Police Dept.

Silva said Santillo had fled to Florida, but returned to Southern New England to lend "moral support" to Ingham, who became worried after seeing her picture on television.

"I think they were in way over their head when they committed these robberies," Silva said. "The speedy arrest and inter-agency cooperation proved that."

Following the arraignment, the judge ordered Ingham held on $3,500 cash bail and Santillo held on $20,000 cash bail.
