CANTERBURY, C.T. (WPRI/AP) - A Connecticut woman has been charged in connection with an accident that killed a local couple on Memorial Day 2008.
Lisa Ramos, 26, turned herself in at the Danielson barracks Sunday afternoon. Connecticut state police say she was charged with two counts of misconduct with a motor vehicle.
Officials say Ramos was driving on Route 169 in Canterbury, Connecticut, when her car crossed the center line and hit a motorcycle head-on.
Brad Randall, and his wife, Rosemarie, of North Kingstown, both died in the crash.
Ramos posted $25,000 bail. She is due in Danielson Superior Court on Dec. 3.
