PROVIDENCE, R.I., (WPRI) - The Cannon building of the Department of Health on Capital Hill in Providence will remain closed on Tuesday.
Pipes burst over the weekend, sending water into the building.
Equipment, birth, death and marraige documents were damaged.
Cosmetology exams scheduled for Tuesday will be held in Conference Rooms A and C at the Department of Administration.
Updates as to when the building will open to the public will be provided on a regular basis.
The Medical Examiner's Office and the HEALTH Laboratory are located in a separate building and were not affected by the flooding.
