CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) - In the midst of the problems at Central Falls High School, an outgoing state official is taking a new position at the school.
Central Falls High Trustees have named Patricia Martinez the Executive Director of the new Center for Family Support and Student Development.
Martinez currently serves as outgoing head of the state Child Welfare Agency .
Governor-elect Lincoln Chafee has announced he will not keep Martinez as DCYF Chief.
Central Falls High School continues to deal with problems related to student behavior and teacher attendance .
