PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WPRI) - The autopsy is complete on Taylor Meyer, 17, of Plainville. Though it does not reveal an exact cause of death, the report, released Wednesday afternoon, confirms there was no foul play involved in the high school senior's death.

The Chief Medical Examiner's Office said in a statement that some standard medical testing has not yet been completed, so there is no final cause of death, however there is evidence that Meyer may have drowned.

Searchers found Meyer's body in a marshy area near the grounds of the former Norfolk Airport Monday morning, according to investigators. The location is not far from where Meyer's and her friends were having an underage drinking party Friday night.

Meyer, a senior at King Philip Regional High School, was not reported missing until Saturday afternoon because of confusion between family and friends over her whereabouts.

A massive search party, consisting of ground crews, boats, dogs and a State Police helicopter, launched Saturday night and continued scouring the area throughout the weekend.

Norfolk County District Attorney William Keating said there were no obvious signs of trauma, and the cause of death remains under investigation.

In light of Meyer's death, her

is providing counseling to students.
