PROVIDENCE, R.I., (WPRI) - The Target 12 Investigators take you inside the mafia now.

We've learned two members of Anthony "The Saint" St. Laurent's family are trying to cut a deal with federal prosecutors.

Anthony St. Laurent Junior and his mother Dorothy, have asked the courts for more time for plea negotiations.

Both were charged along with reputed mafia captain Anthony "The Saint" St. Laurent in an extortion case earlier this month.

The elder St. Laurent has not asked for more time to cut a deal.
