Animal shelter becoming over-crowded

Almost 80 animals left at shelter last week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - A Providence animal shelter is bulging at the seams.

The Providence Animal Rescue League is need of potential pet owners looking to rescue an animal.

Seventy-six animals were dropped at the shelter last week alone.

However, only twenty-one of them found homes and were adopted.

The shelter has dogs , cats , rabbits . It's located in the downtown jewelry district at the corner of Hospital Street.
