FALL RIVER, MASS. (WPRI) - Crews at National Grid are working to restore multiple power outages in Rhode Island.

See the National Grid outage map

Hundreds of homes in the area of Newport and Washington Counties are without power this morning.  But that's down from thousands that had lost power earlier.

There were also hundreds of outages in Westport, Mass., but power there has mostly been restored.

Yesterday one-thousand residents in Fall River were also without power but according to officials the problems were not weather related.

Most residents in Fall River got their power back early Sunday morning.

Crews at National Grid are working to restore the rest of the power to their customors.
