LINCOLN, R.I. (WPRI) - Twin River is making another pitch to the General Assembly to overturn the Governor's veto of a casino gambling ballot question.
In a letter obtained by Eyewitness News, Twin River's COO says it understands the motivating factor behind the $75 million loan guarantee to Curt Schilling's 38 Studios is the promise of 450 new jobs.
The letter makes the point that approving table games for Twin River and Newport Grand would create up to 600 new jobs at no risk to the state.
