Benefit planned for murdered mom's kids

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - An East Greenwich restaurant is planning to host a benefit for the three children of a murdered Johnston woman.
Police say Stacie Dorego was stabbed to death and dismembered in her Johnston home earlier this month. Her boyfriend, Donald Greenslit, is accused of killing her and trying to burn her body in a fireplace.
Now friends and loved ones are organizing a silent auction and buffet dinner to raise money for Dorego's children, Lily, Jake, and Mackenzie.
The benefit will take place March 3rd at 6 p.m. at Harbourside Lobstermania on Water Street in East Greenwich.
Tickets are $20 and can be obtained by sending a check to the following address:
