PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Richard Hatch has lost his latest appeal in his tax evasion case.

A judge denied Hatch's request to pay a smaller amount to the IRS for the month of January.

Hatch was convicted of tax evasion for not paying taxes on his "Survivor" winnings.

He was sent back to prison after violating the terms of his release.

His lawyer claims Hatch has only made a few hundred dollars since he was released from prison in January.
