PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Providence residents will have another chance to get free H1N1 shots on Saturday.
On Tuesday, Mayor Cicilline announced that the Providence Emergency Management Agency along with the Rhode Island Department of Health will be holding a public clinic.
The clinic will be held on Saturday, February 13 from 10a.m. - 4p.m. at the Juanita Sanchez Educational Complex located at 182 Thurbers Avenue. Anyone 18 years old can receive a shot free of charge.
Those interested in shots for people under 18 years-old are asked to contact their primary doctors. Health officials said H1N1 vaccinations is the best defense against contracting the virus.
For those unable to attend Saturday’s flu clinic, the Health Department is coordinating other free public H1N1 vaccination clinics throughout Rhode Island.
