PORTSTMOUTH, R.I. (WPRI) - Fire crews were called to the scene of a house fire in Portsmouth on Wednesday afternoon.
Officials said the fire started inside a home on Taylor Road at Eastover Road, sometime after 2 p.m.
An Eyewitness News crew at the scene said there was a problem with the fireplace damper.
The home suffered smoke damage, but nothing major. No one was injured.
