Fire breaks out at an apartment building in East Providence.
Crews responded to the 3-story Taunton Avenue residence on Thursday afternoon for reports of a fire. The building is located across the street from the Sacred Heart Church.
An Eyewitness News crew on the scene said the building suffered from minor exterior damage.
There is no word at this time on any injuries. The cause of the fire is unknown.
Crews continue to investigate.
