YMCA holds annual Healthy Kids Day event

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Eyewitness News This Morning anchors Danielle North, Patrick Little and meteorologist Michelle Muscatello helped ring in the fun on Saturday at the YMCA's annual Healthy Kids Day event.

This event was to encourage parents to engage their children in living healthy and active lifestyles. Fifteen locations participated in healthy kids day, thirteen locations in Rhode Island, one in Massachusetts and one in Connecticut. Patrick Little was at the local Alfred Lima Elementary School in Providence, Michelle Muscatello was at the Bayside YMCA and Danielle North was at the Kent County YMCA.

The occasion included both indoor and outdoor activities such as swimming, dancing and even a fun obstacle course.
