WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) A Woonsocket woman was arrested early Tuesday morning after allegedly making threatening actions towards an elementary school teacher.
Police were called to Pothier Elementary School around 8 a.m.. Tuesday after a teacher reported a female walking with a child on the sidewalk. The woman, identified as Vanice Armstrong, allegedly made eye contact with the teacher, posed her hands like a gun and gestured like she was shooting the teacher.
Armstrong denied the allegations. She was taken into custody for disorderly conduct after a brief struggle.
She is scheduled to be arraigned in Sixth District Court at 2 p.m.
