WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) - Woonsocket's Harris Public Library now has some cleanup and repairs ahead, after vandals broke several windows sometime during the weekend.
Photos posted on the library's Facebook page showed shattered windows, crumbled glass on the floor and a rock believed to have done the damage.
Five windows in a wall, flanked by the flags of the United States and Rhode Island, were cracked and broken. One was boarded up.
If anyone has information about the crime, they're asked to contact Woonsocket Police.
Back in September, a Cranston library fell victim to vandalism when some metal stair railings were stolen -- believed to have been sold for scrap.
