WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) - Four people are facing charges, after Woonsocket police raided a barbershop and an apartment as part of a drug investigation.
According to police, the raids Saturday at the Chop Shop barbershop and an apartment on Arnold Street followed a lengthy investigation into drugs being sold at both locations.
Police said they arrested 38-year-old Julio Enrique Oquendo and 22-year-old George Michael Cruz-Rivera at the barbershop. Officers took a third suspect, 20-year-old Samantha Fortune, into custody at the apartment.
Police said they seized a large amount of cocaine and marijuana, a large caliber handgun, and more than $7,000 in cash.
A fourth suspect, Robert Morris, was arrested after police said he broke into the Arnold Street apartment several hours after the drug bust.
