WESTERLY, R.I. (WPRI) -- Westerly Police are investigating the theft of a van that was delivering copies of The Providence Journal newspaper.
Police say the van was stolen about 3:30 Thursday morning from a truck stop in North Stonington, Conn. It was later found crashed on Mechanic St. in Pawcatuck, Conn.
Not far from there, police found an 18-year-old Rhode Island man who needed medical treatment.
Police will not say if he's a suspect in the theft; just that they're still investigating.
