Hit & run sends 1 woman to hospital
Woman struck on Wakefield St. in West Warwick

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - A woman is in the hospital after being struck by a hit and run driver in West Warwick.
Police told The Providence Journal , the 51-year-old victim was crossing Wakefield St. Wednesday afternoon when she was hit by a dark-colored vehicle, with out of state plates.
There is no word on the extent of her injuries.
Police are still looking for the driver.
