Victim shot, sustained multiple wounds

No arrests have been made

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – A victim was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Providence Police, the victim was found in the second floor kitchen inside of a Julian Street home after being shot in the driveway. Police say the victim lives at that home.

The victim is 22-year-old Christopher Michael Pena, and is in critical but stable condition at Rhode Island hospital.

A witness reported that one man fled the scene on foot, while another left in a car.

So far, no arrests have been made and police are investigating the incident.
