NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) – The man accused of slashing the driver of a van with a knife in a road rage incident has been deemed dangerous.
Authorities say Medeiros was driving the van when a car driven by 19-year-old Aaron Maldonado made a wide turn around the van and honked. Medeiros reportedly honked back.
According to court documents, both men pulled over and started fighting. That's when Maldonado allegedly pulled out a knife and slashed Medeiros.
Police report that Medeiros was transporting a group of Roosevelt Middle School students at the time of the incident.
A judge order Maldonado be held without bail until his next court date on February 12th.
