PROVIDENCE R.I.(WPRI) – A teenager, arrested for last month's triple homicide in Providence is due in family court Friday morning.
Police took the suspect into custody Thursday morning and is being held at the state training school.
The three victims, Shemeeka Barros, 22, Michael Martin, 23, and Damien Colon, 22, were found dead inside a Maplewood Terrace Apartment on July 30.
The juvenile suspect will be arraigned on a charge of murder. Police said the suspect is a resident of Providence.
The homicide investigation is still active and ongoing at this time.
