PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Thirteen Rhode Island police departments teamed up with U.S. Marshals to conduct a 3 day sex offender sweep.
Eleven suspects were charged with 14 criminal offenses.
One of those offenders was Michael Damon, a level 3 sex offender who was wanted for failing to register.
Investigators made 230 compliance checks.
Eight of those sex offenders were not present at their registered address.
