Police: Victim shot around 4 a.m. on Wisdom Street

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – An overnight shooting in Providence is under investigation.
Police tell Eyewitness News that Vicky Richardson, 19, was sitting on the front porch of a house on Wisdom Street when two males in a silver car began shooting at the residence.
Richardson told police she heard ten to twelve shots fired by the suspects, who then fled the scene towards Academy Avenue.
Police say Richardson was shot in the right foot. She was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
