PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A reputed gang leader was sentenced Thursday, after admitting to numerous charges.
Attorney General Peter Kilmartin said Francisco Bonilla pleaded guilty to felony assault, two counts of carrying a gun without a license, conspiracy to commit assault, and using a gun during a crime of violence.
As part of the plea agreement, the judge sentenced Bonilla to 10 years in prison and 10 years suspended with probation.
Bonilla was arrested last year in a gang sweep by Providence police .
