PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A jury convicted a Providence man Friday of murdering his romantic rival nearly four years ago.
Miguel Davis, 24, was also found guilty of several gun charges in connection with the shooting death of Dominique Gay, the Attorney General's Office announced in a news release.
Gay was shot in broad daylight near the intersections of Porter and Broad Streets on March 20, 2009. Prosecutors argued Davis killed Gay because the two men were romantically involved with the same woman.
Davis was charged with Gay's murder in August 2012.
