PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- One of two brothers accused of child molestation returned to court Tuesday.

Richard Perry, 55, of Warren, faced a judge Tuesday morning for arraignment on charges of first- and second-degree child molestation.

Perry pled not guilty to a new charge of second degree molestation. He has been behind bars for more than a month after a Grand Jury indicted him on two separate counts of first-degree and second-degree child molestation.

Perry previously worked as a youth sports coach and umpire, and at Kickemuit Middle School as a custodian and discipline officer. He was first charged back in December.

After the allegations surfaced against Richard Perry, police found reason to charge his brother, Jesse, of Fall River, with child molestation as well.
