PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - A man accused of raping a woman he met online is in police custody.
Lawrence Wolf, 42, turned himself in to Providence police Tuesday. He was later turned over to the Central Falls Police Department.
Wolf was wanted for sexually assaulting a woman at her Central Falls home in August.
Police say the alleged incident happened one day after he met her through a social networking website accessed through Facebook.
