FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (WPRI) – Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Southern Massachusetts Credit Union on Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect allegedly entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. He took off running from the area after placing an undisclosed amount of money in a plastic baggie.
Police describe the suspect as a white male in his early thirties. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jacket, and a dark ball cap. He was unshaven, wearing glasses, and approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build.
No weapon was shown during the robbery.
