SWANSEA, Mass. (WPRI) – Police are searching for a suspect who reportedly robbed the Fall River Municipal Credit Union on Thursday afternoon.
Swansea officials responded to a hold-up alarm at the Fall River Municipal Credit Union, located at 775 GAR Highway.
Police say that a suspect, who did not appear to be armed, walked into the bank and passed the teller a note demanding money. He then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male between the ages of 35 and 45, standing about 5’8’’ tall, with brown hair, a mustache, and a medium build. He was wearing a red shirt, black pants, and a blue baseball cap at the time of the crime.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to contact the Swansea Police Department.
