PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Significant dates in Operation Deception investigation:

This information taken from State Police affidavits filed in Providence District Court.

Nov. 20, 2009: Judge signs court order allowing Rhode Island State Police to wiretap two cell phones used by alleged drug dealer Albert Hamlin.

Dec. 14, 2009: State Police intercept phone call from Providence Police Detective Joseph Colanduono and Providence Sgt. Stephen Gonsalves to meet in Warwick.

State Police monitor alleged drug deal between Hamlin and Gonsalves in parking lot.

Dec. 20, 2009: State Police intercept phone call between Hamlin, Colanduono and Gonsalves to arrange a meet for Hamlin to allegedly deliver cocaine to Gonsalves at his Providence residence.

Jan. 23, 2010: State Police videotape alleged drug deal in driveway of Albert Hamlin's Providence home. Present is Hamlin's brother, Providence patrolman Robert Hamlin.

Feb. 1, 2010: Judge signs court order allowing Rhode Island State Police to wiretap cell phone used by Providence Police Detective Joseph Colanduono

Feb. 9, 2010: Detectives intercept call between Gonsalves and Colanduono to allegedly set up drug deal with Albert Hamlin

Feb. 10, 2010: Investigators videotape alleged drug deal between Hamlin and Gonsalves

Feb. 24, 2010: State Trooper pulls over truck belonging to Albert Hamlin. Behind the wheel is another person, but police find 179 ecstasy pills.

Later that day Hamlin phones Colanduono to tell him of the arrest and that the drugs belong to him. Colanduono advises Hamlin "to be careful... they will be watching you."

March 1, 2010: State Police intercept call from Sgt. Gonsalves to Colanduono to set up another alleged drug deal.

March 2, 2010: State Police videotape meeting between Hamlin and Gonsalves at Hamlin's Providence residence.

March 4, 2010: Det. Colanduono, Sgt. Gonsalves and Patrolman Hamlin are arrested by State Police at Providence Police Headquarters.

Also charged: Khalid Mason, Jameson Hassett and Albert Hamlin.

March 5, 2010: Colanduono, Albert and Robert Hamlin, Mason, Hassett arraigned and plead not guilty to drug charges in Providence District court. Gonsalves' arraignment scheduled for May 13.
