PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Six people were arrested Thursday, March 4, in a a drug sting.
The arrests:
- Albert Hamlin, 28, of Providence: Three counts of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, one count of possession of cocaine (one ounce to one kilo), seven counts of conspiracy to deliver cocaine, one count of conspiracy to deliver Schedule III controlled substance/steroids. (See affidavit)
- Providence Police Dept. Detective Joseph Colanduono, 44, of West Warwick: Four counts of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance/cocaine, one count of compounding and concealing a felony (See affidavit)
- Providence Police Dept. Patrolman Robert J. Hamlin (brother of Albert Hamlin), 33, of East Providence: two counts of conspiracy to possess cocaine (See affidavit)
- Khalid Mason, 34, of Central Falls: possession of cocaine (one ounce to one kilo), possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, conspiracy (Affidavit not available)
- Providence Police Dept. Sgt. Stephen Gonsalves, 47, of Providence: Four counts of soliciting another to commit a crime (See affidavit)
- Jameson Hassett, 24, of Providence: Two counts of conspiracy (See affidavit)
