NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) - A Woonsocket man charged with robbing a North Smithfield restaurant is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
North Smithfield police said Thomas Vernon robbed the McDonald's on Eddie Dowling Highway around 4:30 Saturday morning.
The 37-year-old was later arrested by Woonsocket police.
Vernon also had several outstanding warrants.
