NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) -- Two Dartmouth men are under arrest, accused of trying to rob another man, right in front of officers.
According to the Standard Times , New Bedford police said Shane Priest, 20 and Alexander Torres, 24, approached a man on Coggeshall Street near Acushnet Avenue, and went through his pockets looking for money.
Police said they were called to the scene by officers with the Bristol County Sheriff's Department, who witnessed the incident.
Priest and Torres are charged with unarmed assault with intent to commit robbery.
