PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A Providence man who is already in jail is now charged with murder.
A grand jury indicted Douglas White, 54, for the death of Donna Oliver, the Attorney General's office announced Friday.
Oliver's body was found in her Grape Street home last May. The grand jury indictment accuses White of killing Oliver almost a month earlier in mid-April. White is also charged with larceny, for allegedly stealing Oliver's flat-screen TV.
White is currently serving a sentence for a separate crime, according to the Attorney General's office.
