Leslie Ruiz is wanted on assault charges

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) -- The Fall River Police is looking for information that would lead to a criminal arrest.
Leslie Ruiz, 29, is wanted by police for numerous assault charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Cops say she is a Hispanic female, 5'4'' tall, with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes. She is also known to have ties to the Fall River and New Bedford areas.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fall River Police Department at (508) 676-8511 or the anonymous tip line at (508) 672-8477.
