FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) -- The man accused of shooting a woman in the head, then going through her pockets before leaving her dead in her car, entered a plea of not guilty to several charges Friday morning at Fall River Superior Court.

Brandyn LePage, 20, is charged with shooting 31-year-old Aja Pascual on Sep. 29, 2012 during what officials believed was a drug transaction while the car was parked on Cherry Street. Pascual was found slumped against the window of her car, shot to death.

LePage is charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm.

A judge ordered LePage held without bail, according to the Fall River Herald News, and he was scheduled to return to court March 27.
