EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Police are investigating reports of gunfire in an East Providence neighborhood.

The drive-by shooting happened late Tuesday night on Orchard Street.

Police say someone in a car fired several shots at an occupied home.

No one was hit by the gunfire, but police closed Orchard Street from North Phillips to South Prospect as they investigated.

Right now, there is a vehicle of interest. It's a Ford SUV with Rhode Island license plates.
